Membranes

CETCO-VOLTEX

One of the coating insulation systems we use is the CETCO-VOLTEX product, a waterproofing membrane made from the combination of three components: bentonite granulate (at a rate of 4.8 kg/m2), polypropylene fabric, and non-woven fabric. When in contact with water, bentonite can expand up to fifteen times its orig-inal volume. For proper functionality, bentonite mats require restricted swelling, achieved by pressing them against the insulated surface.

They are used in the underground parts of buildings (both horizontal and verti-cal), tunnels, permanent excavation enclosures, etc. Among its many advantages are self-sealing properties, quick and easy installation, and the lack of need for additional protective or compression layers. Foundation membranes

Self-adhesive membrane made from SBS elastomer-modified bitumen, combined with a high-strength rein-forcement layer and a specially designed mixture on the upper surface of the membrane, intended for perma-nent bonding with concrete. COLPHENE BSW H is used for horizontal waterproofing of underground struc-tures. COLPHENE BSW H is laid loosely, with the bottom side against the approved substrate (concrete or compacted sand). Seams are weldable. It is recommended to lay the COLPHENE PROTECT`R membrane on top of the COLPHENE BSW H membrane, before installing the reinforcement and pouring the foundation slab.

Any penetrations, utility passages, or discontinuities are the most vulnerable points for leaks; by supplement-ing the system with a single-component waterproofing resin (ALSAN FLASHING based on polyurethane and bitumen, resistant to UV radiation) we can ensure the watertightness of the of the underground part of the structure.
